Jaime Smith - Assistant Principal

Originally from Mays Landing, NJ—just a short drive from Atlantic City—I relocated to Jacksonville, NC, in 2003. My career in education began in 2007 with Onslow County Schools, where I taught kindergarten, fourth, and fifth grades at Jacksonville Commons Elementary School. Following these formative teaching experiences, I pursued a Master’s degree in School Administration at East Carolina University. Since then, I have served as an assistant principal in several schools within Onslow County Schools, and I am thrilled to return to Northside.

I am also a parent of two children and a pet lover with one dog and four cats. Outside of my professional role, I enjoy quality time with my family, reading, and spending time at the beach.

I look forward to further supporting the students, families, and broader Northside High School community!
