Month of the Military Child

 April is the Month of the Military Child.  The month's purpose is to recognize the contribution the military child makes as their parent(s) serve our nation.  Purple symbolizes all branches of the military (Army-green, Marine-red, and blue for the Coast Guard, Air Force, and Navy).  The student population of NHS is approximately 34% military connected (or roughly 380 students).

Our Student 2 Student organization, staff and students honor military children by wearing purple.  PURPLE UP!
