The AVID Elective Class

AVID students receive help and support from fellow teachers and students through some of our more rigorous classes, such as honors courses and Advanced Placement (AP). Our AVID curriculum teaches students valuable skills that they can use in and out of the classroom, which include organizational skills, critical thinking, and asking higher-level questions. Students are able to receive help from AVID tutors and peers anytime, and especially during our tutorial sessions and motivational team-building activities.
